Being within walking distance of schools, shopping, a community pool, and an amazing library is really convenient. Columbia tot lots and Lake Elkhorn are close by as well. When we bought the property, we were drawn to the walkability of the neighborhood. It is also ideally situated for most commuters and families.

We enjoy eating at Bon Fresco, Trattoria e Pizzeria da Enrico, Frisco Grille, and Chipotle. There are loads of restaurants within a 10-minute drive.

There are plenty of varied options for grocery shopping, Giant is nearby in the village center. Wegmans, Trader Joes, Costco, Whole Foods and Harris Teeter are all within 10 minutes from the house.

When we bought the property, the layout of the kitchen appealed to us as a comfortable space to cook and eat. We enjoy biking within Columbia. The network of mixed-use paths is well maintained and gives a relaxing way to get across town.

With a newly installed HVAC system, our summer energy bills through BGE have run around $120 a month with people home during the day and the AC running. Last year on the old HVAC system, bills were in a similar range.
